Disneyland Trip

Well, Cody and I had a wonderful weekend. Guess where we went!!! That's right DISNEYLAND!!! At the begining of the year Cody and I heard that Disney was doing, Give a day Get a Disney Day. So you go online and sign up to do community service and then they will give you free tickets to Disneyland. Well that sounds like a great idea to me. I went and signed us up. In the month of March, Cody and I went to a school and helped plant trees and clean up the playground. A week later we were able to print off our free tickets to Disney.
Although our Trip was short it was very sweet. We were able to get a hotel that was really close to Disneyland so we were able to walk everywhere. We drove all Friday morning and Got to Aniheim about 3 in the afternoon, we walked to Downtown Disney and were able to just take our time and look around and spend time with each other. After walking around we went and saw Despicable Me, which I got a pretty good ab workout cause I was laughing throughout the entire movie. It was a very fun evening to spend with each other.
The next day we got up bright and early to get a good head start at Disneyland. We were able to get on all of the rides pretty quickly and thank goodness for those fast passes or else we would have been in those lines all day long. One line I remember waiting in the most was the Buzz Lightyear ride. As Cody and I were getting in line a young man who was mentally challenged came right up to Cody and said "Hi! you want to be my Friend!!!" Cody was like okay sure and the guy just really liked Cody for some reason and the whole time we were in line he kept on talking to Cody, not me though just Cody. He kept saying things like "look I have muscles just like you" and he would flex for us, He made the line go by fast, or maybe not fast enough. Ether way when we were done with the ride the guy quickly found his way back to Cody. Cody was a good sport and patted the guy on the back for doing such a great job on the Buzz Lightyear game. We said our goodbyes and that was that. It was just funny how much that guy liked Cody.
Anyways we had a blast at Disneyland, we ate and ran around and just got to have a lot of fun. Although the next morning I sure wasn't a happy camper. I woke bright and early the next morning not because I wanted too, but because my stomach was not pleased with how I treated it. I was throwing up all morning and poor Cody had to deal with me not wanting to move an inch. Cody packed everything up and drove all the way home with me pretty much sleeping the whole time. I felt bad that our trip ended the way it did but I was sure grateful for how well Cody took care of me. I'm so lucky to have him
Although I got sick the last day there, I really had a wonderful time. I loved spending so much time with my husband. I've always wanted to go to Disneyland with whomever I was going to marry and I was so thrilled I was able to do it. Cody and I will be married a year at the end of this month and going to Disneyland was sure a fun way to celebrate our marriage.

Start of something New!

Well as you all can see, I am trying to start my own blog. I am not very good at writing down things that are happening in my life (which a lot is happening) so I thought the best way to record my thoughts would to just start a blog. I am a little new at this so hopfully I don't crash and burn.
Cody and I are going through some big changes this summer. We are moving from the hot Mesa Valley to the cold Flagstaff Mountains. Cody and I both are very excited for these new changes (especially Cody, he doesn't like the heat). But we are really excited that we get to start something new for both of us. What a lot of adventures we have ahead of us. It will be fun to make new friend and learn about Flagstaff.
So now that I have this blog, I'm hoping that it will help me keep in touch with everyone in my life, and to just get my thoughts out there. I am so thankful for my family and friends and for all the love and support we have. I'm excited for these new changes in my life.
